Intellectual/cultural activities
Intellectual/ cultural activities can help to preserve memory skills by providing mental stimulation. This can help to prevent or put off dementia and other memory related issues.
Intellectual activities:
- Reading
- Puzzles

- Outdoor activities
Many activities are included in more than one activity group. For example, playing cards with friends can be regarded as social and intellectual activity. Going for a walk with a partner is a physical/fitness and social activity if one is interacting with other people in the surroundings.
