Caring for Persons with Dementia
Caregiving for someone diagnosed with a neurocognitive disorder, such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease, can be stressful for both the caregiver and the person being cared for (the client). It is important to remember not only the health of the client, but the caregiver as well. It is helpful for the caregiver to have enough leisure time to relieve stress, as well as have a place to gain information. This page provides links to resources for caregivers of persons with neurocognitive disorders.
